WE WANT OUR MERCUROCHROME!

In the final power-mad, heady days of the Clinton administration, the FDA (in it's all knowing wisdom) silently banned Mercurochrome because of it's imaginary danger to humans. It is buried on a long list of mercury containing products which is no longer allowed for human use.
The justification given for this is mercury poisoning (which is pure BS). If you do any sort of research, you will find there is NO EVIDENCE of mercury poisoning by Mercurochrome (or the other publicly targeted item, thermometers!). More on this on our "Is It Really So Dangerous?" page.
